front disc minimum thickness on 2001 ml 270

Hi does anybody no the minimum thickness for the front & rear brake disc's

(Must keep one step ahead of MOT station)

According to my data, front disc min thickness =23mm rear =13mm

Your front are ventilated and the rear are not, hence the difference, the figures Uncle Benz gave are correct.

Yes that sound correct so if it fails the test I can argue the toss

Am I right to assume that if car passes MOT the brakes are fine and dont need replacement as they do a check on brakes!!! riiiiiiiiiiight!!!!!???

yes and no,my brake warning light came on driving home from the MOT....

Once when I took the offroader for the test the guy said that the vented front discs looked a bit thin, said they were worn
I said all discs are worn to some degree so what would be the minimum disc thickness for this car, he didn't no so he passed the car.

I'm not replacing my discs unless I realy need to
