front door inside panel - removal of inside panel

My father in law has a 1989 300E and needs to replace the electric window motor.   To be able to do this could you please advise us on how to remove the panel without the possibility of  it breaking.  As we have been told that it is a problem.   Thank you for your assistance

If its the same as the 230E,just prise off the plastic surround from the door handle (where you'd open the door from the inside),prise up the metal "rail" from the back of the chrome handle (you'll see it),move out the way the other hande that'll let you see theres a small bolt about 12ml I think,take that off
There isn't any plastic clips like other cars Iv'e seen,slide up the panel from the bottom,it might be quite tight,even put your at the bottom of panel and give it a "dunt" just to free it.
That should be it,just the usual, be carefull not to break anything in the proccess.I hope that kinda helps.
