has anyone ever noticed that when a newish mercedes comes round a roundabout or turns a sharp junction one of the front fog lights comes on then gos off when the car levels out why is this ??

They're cornering lights - come on below certain speeds and with a certain steering angle input.

The idea is that this lights up the corner and they turn with the steering that you are turning into, just like the DS, they can be turned off.
