front mudflaps

I get some stonechips on the lower part of the rear panel just above rear side skirt. These are caused by those small objects coming from the front tyres while driving. Has any of you got the same problem. I'm thinking of putting front mudflaps. Do you think this will solve the problem or maybe changing to a different brand of tyres. Currently using Michellin. Is it easy to fit those front mudflaps or do I need the dealer to fit them. How much will they cost to fit?

If you buy the mudflaps from a dealer,they will fit the car with no problems.Some aftermarket ones are very hard to get right.

Fitting should only take you about an hour.
With a 10minute tea break included.

Why dont you put your car details in your signature so we will have an idea of where to start? As SUE says get them from a dealer as the fit will be spot on and wont take too long to fit at all.Cost could be as litle as £20 per pair for flaps,Wouldn't like to speculate on charges for fitting them @(£100 per hour)

I once fitted a set to a cavalier.......in fact i fitted them several times....had to sell car due to embarrassement.
