front right malfunction consult workshop

I've got a W177 - A class 180 D sport exec, 2018, only had it two weeks and this warning has come up. I've seen several older posts on a similar issue but with no clear definition. Is this something that can be diagnosed via a computer check, or is it something that's going to require manual checking of every connection? My first experience of getting work done on a Mercedes so trying to get as much info beforehand as possible.

That looks very much like an airbag fault, I’d get it back to whoever supplied it and have them rectify it.

welcome to the world of MB, as a new owner to the brand I cannot over emphasise the need to get yourself a local reputable mercedes independent. In the long run they are priceless..

As to the issue, you will have 6 months warranty. The car will need the codes read to help identify the exact problem.

Absolutely as Mioba above. They're much better than the average official dealer, cheaper and much better knowledge of the slightly older models as well. What's not to like ?

Your profile says it’s a 2019 car in which a case it’s still under warranty so take it back to Mercedes. If it’s 2018, as per your post above, and you bought it for a trader, then take it back to the and get them to sort it at their cost.

Failing that, get Avantgard at Clevedon to look at it,

You said you’ve only had it 2 weeks though, so take it back to wherever you bought it from. We have very good consumer rights

Most common reason I’ve seen for front right fault is the seatbelt stalk. I’ve replaced about five on w177.

I had exact;y the same mrssage on a 2013 E350 coupe. Turned out it was the aibag connections in the steering column. Fixed by local indi for £60.

Now told it's a seat belt clasp that needs replacing. Do you think I have any come back against the garage who sold it, as I said, just two weeks before fault?
