front springs

hi there does anyone no where i can get some front springs for my 1984 280 automatic saloon ? or does anyone have a spare pair .

Really only from a Mercedes dealer as there are so many variations in the springs,if you give them the VIN of the car they will be able to supply the correct springs.

Front coil springs - £28 for a 123 - £41 for a 126 - from eurocarparts.com

hi there thanks 4 that i phoned just to make sure there price was 41.36.still loads cheeper than carols in wton .

Try the main dealer. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised. I think mine were around £40 each and thats on a w202 sport. I couldn't get the correct ones from other sources and was sent 3 different variations, none of which were correct, before I went to the main dealer, and even they sent the wrong ones out first time round. I was pleasantly surprised at their price and have since been back for other parts. the parts aren't that much more expensive. It's the labour they sting you with.

Give me a ring Saturday morning (9am 'til 2pm), 0115 9882924 ask for Guy, and have your chassis number to hand, I might have to ring you back, as we have to do a special version count up, can take a few minutes, if Euro/GSF etc have said there is only one version, they are wrong....
