With the passenger side front spring snapping on my R171 I'm going to replace the shocks as well as the springs (probably with Bilstein B4's) - question is do I also replace the top mounts at the same time?

It's an extra ~£200 for the parts - so wondering on the forums thoughts

If diying it take it apart and see how they look.
If not I'd do them as it's one less opportunity to be stung for labour.

I am DIYing it - I've ordered the struts and springs - £301.31 all in for 2 x Bilstein B4 Shock absorbers and 2 x Febi Bilstein Coil Springs - I'll take them out and decide if I need the top mount and/or the dust cover then
