Has anybody taken out the vacuum unit for locking the fuel door lock.(lid)?

If so can anyone tell me how to get it out without damaging anything.

Cheers

You just take out the boot liner, push the retaining catch, un clip the pipe with a spanner by twisting it slightly and it all comes off, very easy when you see it.

You do know that you can remove the splash guard in the filler neck so that a diesel one will go in

Hi Malcolm.

I have already un clipped the pipe, but you can't see it, so i will have to try and feel for the retaining catch- many thanks.

I have already removed the splash guard-Sunday morning-i did write this in the forum earlier.

cheers

Brian
