Fuel filler recess

Hello,
Fuel filler recess needs replacing. This is the plastic mechanism which has a hinge which supports the metal flap.
Main dealer quotes part is £106.44 (incl VAT).
Images with serial numbers attached.

Any recommendations for something cheaper please ?

Given that it has the pivot and push-push integrated I would say that £106 isn’t a bad price. I’m willing to bet you’d be looking at £80-90 from a scrapper if you can find one.

Common problem that. I don’t think you’ll find a cheaper option other than superglue. You may mock, but I had a GLC with one broken end of May. They are on back order, still not arrived… I glued it back together temporarily for the customer, and it’s still holding!

Metal flap ?? mines plastic. basically same car same year.

They have been plastic with MB for a long time now. (I don’t know why, they discard the piece of steel pressed out of the body side outer panel which is exactly the right shape & size, and is essentially free to them…)
