Fuel filter

I have a 2010 Mercedes CLC 180 kompressor, petrol. I've looked underneath the panels underneath and cannot find the fuel filter. Also can't see it in the engine bay. Can someone please tell me we're it is. Or is it built-in to the tank and maintenance free? Thanks, Anthony.

Best would be a trip to a dealer parts dept and say you want a ff based on vin. They will confirm and ask for a print of the parts pic.

Some cars have them in the tank - maintenance free.

I think it’s in the top of the tank underneath the back seat buddy .

There is a electric plug under back seat, above the tank, like a large round plastic screw. So is it possible that it's in the tank, maintenance free?

You can't actually see a fuel filter.
