Fuel Leak Pictures...

Hi Guys,Ladies.
I have attached the following pictures, which show the severity of the situation, when the car is running..the leak is quite serious.
I really would like to think this is possibly just a faulty fuel hose, however it does appear the location of where the leak is,there is no hoses or pipes.
If anyone has experienced a similar situation, please can you advise..
Thanks Again
Darren

Thanks !!!

Well i took my car to my friend who has a garage,in 20 mins after removing the rear wheel, fuel pump, back seats... err fuel pump cover plate it was like something from pimp my ride... :D he located the fault which was one worn fuel hose, which had been rubbing against the underside of the cover plate, resulting in a pin hole size abrasion... would you believe it.. ?
So thanks D3Less you was absolutely spot on.... ;)
I have added the pictures unfortunately not great resolution due to being taken from my mobile phone..but you see the problem..hopefully this help other folks with the same issues..
Regards
Darren

Would be worth checking with Mercedes as this should have been a recall item. Abrasion onto a fuel pipe is a recipe for explosion, a strongly worded letter to Mercedes may see at least a contribution to your repairs.

Fuel Leak !!

Hi Psmart,
Thank's for the input,i don't think a call to MB will do any harm,as you said it's a recipe for disaster..who knows what could have happened ? and it's not as if it was due to fatigue of the part itself..
Cheers
Darren
