Welcome to the Forum.

Someone will be along soon to give you an answer - I only drive the ****** things, and keep the various bits pumped up/correct fluid levels. :D

If the fuel smell is from the exhaust and not the engine bay then it might be the air-mass sensor faulty, when you say running rough does the engine have trouble revving when under load?

You would be best trying to find a mechanic to check your injectors are fitted correctly..they should not be loose, the proper way to clean them is to add a cleaner to the fuel system..Did you remove them??

You may be able to rotate the injectors slightly , but as long as you cant see fuel leaking then this may not be your problem. I agree with Xtractorfan you need to see a mechanic, but my money is on the air mass meter, when they fail they give incorrect perameters for fueling e.t.c and overfueling possibly causing fuel smell at exhaust + the engine struggles to rev when you open the throttle sharply this normally means a faulty air mass meter.

From reading other threads, the symptoms sound VERY similar to that of a MAF (Mass Airflow meter) failure.
