According to Transaction 2007 a new bout of fuel protests are on the way, and they say they will be on a larger scale than 2000.

It's hard to take them seriously when they claim that the road haulage industry is on "the brink of extinction".

Extinction would be when there are no lorries on our roads. The brink of extinction would be lorries being a very rare sight. And yet everywhere you go, there seem to be more and more lorries every day (often attempting to overtake each other at glacially slow speeds and blocking hundreds of cars behind them - but that's another matter).

possibly both or possibly none. Ive heard the only support they have is a chap called Derek and he drives an 84 Transit so he might be unaware hes causing a tailback anyway.

Im there, dont tell the wife.
You want to try the fens on a Thursday, its like raising the dead, they all get up at 4am, get in the triumph aclaim's (hearing aid beige) and go out for market day in ely, I swear they spend all day driving a total of 14 miles, at their age you would have thought they would do something else with the borrowed time they have.
Followed one old dear the other day 32 MPH in a 60 limit, she kept going over the white line a few times but bang on 32 mph for 5 miles, at one point I was sure she was dead so I beep her, flashed the lights but nothing so Im conviced shes dead, as we head for the round about I watch her yaris go straight over the round about in my head but she doesnt she just follows the road but doesnt stop, 46 tons of lorry takes alternative route to avoid her.

Went in the post office today in the village the average age in there must have been 1326 and there wa sonly 6 people in there, it was like heavens waiting room.

isnt the an island for these people. 65 theres your tickets, BYE!!!

And they say it's driving fast that causes accidents, well none more than driving at such low speeds, we all know that it irritates other drivers that may wish to get to their destination before the end of the week so much so that they endanger themselves and others in overtaking them where the can. And as jib says, they don't actually look at anything on the road, just directly infront.

When I had my 911 I didnt use it that much but the times I did I wanted to enjoy it, pulling up behind a dead person sort of ruined the fun which frustrated me.
Im not leathel behind the wheel and after my license was taken away for speeds over 100mph I calmed down, I always stick to speed limits.
I once passed a car and caravan at very very very high speed and the carvan nearly flipped over, not big nore is it clever to ever tow a caravan.
