Fuel pump fuse box and relay ??????

Hi im a newby here can you help??????
my ml just conked out..... i think it is the pump in the fuel tank because when i put the key in now ther is no little buzin noise for 3 secs now (and its made that for 2 years since i had the car) and its just turning over like ther is no diesel in it....any ideas its a 2000 ml 270 cdi
looked under steering wheel at fuses it aint ther
stressed out please help i live in wigan area lancs if you have any numbers

Have you checked the fuse box under the bonnet passenger side?

I would suspect a injector failure, to muck leak-off causing low fuel pressure and not starting.

It does not have an electric fuel pump.

I also suspect a fueling issue.

crank sensor would be the first choice, common as hell on them!!
