Fuel pump level sensor

Hi

My vito 2016 broke down on motorway and had to bring it home on a truck.

Was driving on motorway and suddenly engine light came on and car won't accelerate so stopped on hardshoulder to try and restart but it just cracks but won't turn over

Diagnosis show faulty fuel level sensor left size. Anyone know where this is located?

Dignosis shows 6 faults of which we see 2.
Do not assume the DTC shows what needs changing. Its guidance to an area of the issue.
Left side of fuel tank I would say to ans your direct question. A fuel level sensor will not give your issues unless the tank is dry and the gague is reading full tank.

can you please help. does fuel high pressure circuit mean there is an issue with high pressure fuel pump that in in engine ? i replaced in tank fuel pump which fixed fuel gauge issue but car wont' start and it cranks only.

Patrol found the following fault code/s:System : Engine control - E7W / Diesel EDC CR41 OM651 Status 0087E7 - Fuel high-pressure circuit. Error Message : Pressure too low. Fault stored. Status 0087E1 - Fuel pressure system. Error Message : Value too low. Fault stored. Status 0087E2 - Fuel high-pressure circuit. Error Message : Pressure too low. Fault stored. Status 0087E3 - Fuel high-pressure circuit. Error Message : Pressure too low. Fault stored. Status 0087FC - Fuel high-pressure circuit. Error Message : Pressure too low. Fault stored. Status 13E7FD - AdBlue tank. Error Message : Value too low. Fault stored. Status :U144F00 - Fuel level signal. Error Message : Minimum value reached. Fault stored.We have arranged for a recovery of your vehicle.member driving on motor way reduced power present with engine management warning light on . Engine cut out ? Member reattempted to start non start . Carried out basic checks ok . Attempt to start found only cranks with fuel gauge random readings. Carried out bosch found codes logged no fuel pressure. Added fuel as gauge reading empty . Carried out checks found fuel pump /gauge inoperative .Unable to hear pump on prime etc . Further investigation required asap . Engine Oil Level Ok. Coolant Level Ok. Further investigation required asap
