Fuel rail pressure sensor

Hi I’m waiting for a thermostat to arrive for my 08/2007 w204 c-class. While waiting I’ve been looking to see how I’m going to remove the old one, I decided to remove the fuel rail pressure sensor. Well I removed the connection to make sure I had a socket to fit the sensor which l have. So I reconnected the connection, now when l started the car the engine management light is on do I need to have it reset?
