fuel sender unit location a140

Hi I think my fuel sender unit is faulty as my car won't start and i can't hear it priming. Can i access this without taking the fuel tank down? I had a look under the back seats but can't see it. A140 1.4 petrol 2004. Thanks Darren

try changing the fuel filter first,this happened to me and i renewed the filter and it cured it.use genuine filter tho.
