Any one know where 3rd fuse box is on 16 reg w212 estate. Got the one under bonnet and the one in the boot. Looking on the web it says for left hookers it is behind side panel of dash pannel...
If rhd that would mean its at side of glove box but there is an air bag sticker on it. Checked normal place for the w211 but cant see it.. This 16 reg is the face lift... My chart says There is just one fuse.. Fuses in this box are 116 to128..
Its number 116 a 20 amp. Its for auxiliary heating and ventilation. Any one know.. Help appreciated

Open the door and the end panel of the dash should prise out - have a look behind that

My chart will be for the facelift 16 reg estate
My 73 fuse is for. Abs. Asr. Bas. Esp... . 75 fuse is for engine electronics
116 fusr that i cant find is soly for aux heating. And ventilation.
. Not good on electrics but have followed youtube stuff with its vids. I have a 6amp constant drain and engine management light constantly on. Will not clear so using a multimetre i have pulled all fuses and relays and cant get more than an amp drop when i need it to drop 5 n half
I have a 6 amp drain.

Have had 5 mercs. Am a cabby and can get massive mileage. 300000 without trying.. Always get the facelift with about 100000miles.hoping that prpblems have been fixed on previous models.
i think the 2016 facelifted in about april of that year.

Understood, had a few myself...but wasn't the 2016 E Class a w213 (or s213 in estate terms)? Odd to FL a model then bring out a completely new one the same year?

The W213 came out July 2016, the S213 late 2016 - both sold as 2017 models

Should be on the right hand, driver's side panel on a rhd car.

So, definitively ...
212 facelift 2013, no other facelift
213 appeared 2016 as BC mentioned
Therefore fuse information provided for the 212 is correct , there isn’t a fuse 116 as far as I can see
There is in the 213...

Sorry guys.
Brain is going
I always go for a facelift but on this occasion i didnt.
To pass york taxi rules at the time vehicle had to be under a certain age and that made it a 16 reg or newer..

Update on fuse box
Cant find 3rd box. Not in rear or under bonnet not at either side of dash.
Have pulled all fusrs and have had no results on drain.

I am now swaying towards the alternator regulator.

Interesting point
Whenever i search for any parts and put in my reg it tells me the part doesnt fit my vehicle if i make out its a year 17 model it says it will fit.
I know a part number is always usefull but at 76years i cant crawl underneath.

Is it possible to exchange regulator on the w212 220cdi without removing alternator.

Blobcat - I appreciate this is an old post but I am trying to find the third fuse box on my W212. Is this end panel on the drivers side or the passenger side of a right hand drive car please? As the OP said, the passenger side has an airbag warning sticker on it and I don't want to set that off in error!!

(heater fan has stopped BTW which is why I am looking for fuse box)

Thanks

Fairly sure it’s passenger side (UK right hand drive)
