Gear Box lost Gears

Hi I have a Sprinter 311 cdi 903 3t MWB. I reversed and as I was going to put Gear Stick back to first gear to pull away there was not First,Reverse or 5th !
I was left with 2nd,3rd and 4th !
Do you know what the problem could be?

is it a dash mounted stick ? if so pull the surround off , you ma see something , I have a dispatch and not long since replaced gear cables so , otherwise look under the bonnet , passenger side , maybe have a feel around , it will be apparent if ones popped off pal

Certainly seems like the linkage or part of it has come off...should not take long to sort that out..

Hi All just to let you know the Gear Linkage came off on Gear Box bracket !!
