Hi , I’ll have a look don’t think I’ve got a service book but I’ve got a hand book so will have a read through itHi,
It should be in your service book which is part of your handbook pack.
Possibly the dealers aren't responding as there doesn't appear to be a 2017 B class listed? is it possibly a late 2016?Hi I’m trying to work out when the oil needs changing on my b class 2.2d 2017 , I’ve called two different dealers but neither replied, it’s a 7 speeds auto . Many thanks eddie
They did away with the physical service book a few years ago (with the facelift 204 iirc) so the OP won’t have one.
Service miles on the 722.9 were around 70k I believe but most people do it around 40k.
Not sure I know a new shape b class came out late 2018 early 2019 , but mines definitely a 67 platePossibly the dealers aren't responding as there doesn't appear to be a 2017 B class listed? is it possibly a late 2016?

Same thing, they did away with them and went all electronic with both.I should have called it the Maintenance Book and not the Service Book.

The original 7g was meant to be done at 40k then sealed for life, MB eventually did a u-turn on that and said then do every 70k, the 7g+ I think is set at about 60k now but could be wrongjust to clarify, in what concerns the old generation 7g / 722.9 my manual (cls500 w219) says at 40k miles and this was followed from the merc dealer, according to the stamps of the service book.
maybe the 70k you are mentioning would be for the newer version 7g+ ?
I would think about 110k if it's going to become your daily , no point leaving it if she's a keeperV6Matty yes 100% correct it mentions once (the 1st) @40k and then sealed for life. I didn't know about the 70k though. thank you.
buying a car with gearbox service was essential for me. i found it a joke with bmw that advises lifetime oil for auto gearboxes and differentials.
from my car's history i saw mb dealer gearbox service @40k and then after many years and @72k again a gearbox service with VGS valve removal for cleaning up etc from an independent merc specialist.
my car now has 85k miles and i was planning to service it again (the gearbox) at 100k. would it worth it or i should leave it more and do it at 120k? now its a weekend car but plan is to be my daily car to enjoy it more
