Gear selector lamp replacement

Hi folks,
How do i go about replacing the lamp on the gear selector on an automatic w202 1994 also the clock lamp on the dash is very dull will this be a lamp as well? thanks in advance, Patrick

The clock lamp bulb in the cluster may have blackened with age and need replacing. The cluster pictured is of a December 1994 car, if yours is earlier then this then it may be different but all will be apparent when it is removed.

PS it’s worth replacing all the constantly lit bulbs ( Clock and Mileage counter and Temperature display if fitted)as the are never off and so wear out the quickest.
