124 series manual sedan 89 model for some reason beyond me the gear box is locked into third cannot move the stick into neutral or else where clutch seems to be ok can drive it starting with increased revs but not disengage at all. Any one shed some light.It came about whist trying to park quickly changing from reverse, where the stick is stuck in presently, and first.Perhaps a ball joint is stuck underneath?Can lift the stick up and down to simulate putting in to reverse but thats it.
