DSCF0852.jpg

it covered 107,000 miles and genrally drives ok but tends to sometimes lack power, takes a while to register that you have put your foot down, even making a loud bang on the odd ocasion, then it has its good days no problems at all
has any one else come across this ? or am i on my own !
has had a resent service, changed the compleat exhaust, which leaves me to think its the auto box??

Mass Air Flow Sensor I think.

Just after the air cleaner box in the engine compartment if it is.

Normally quite a pricey thing, but try plugging it in again. Could be corrosion.

If the gearbox fluid hasn't already been changed, it should be done now. There is a DIY in the DIY section if you're confident, but at a Merc indie it isn't an expensive job.

At the very least you should have the gearbox dipped and tested for fluid level.
