does any body have an idea how much for recon gearbox 4 a 240e 2.6 petrol 2000 reg estate, supplied and fitted. quick answers please trying to sort it while in mexico city via the mrs.

Second hand boxes are not recomended from myself. You just don't know what you are getting.

Get a genuine one from MB as they are the best. Re-built boxes cost around £1000 plus 5 hours fitting. I don't like re-built boxes either as they are never as good as new.
