I have a 1978 450 SLC. Occasionally the automatic gearbox does not engage (deselect) at very slow speeds ie slowing down to take a left hand 90 degree corner. I have been told it may be something to do with a damaged diaphragm. Has anybody any experience or knowledge of this?
