geting too hot!pls I need advaice

hi everyone,
2 days ago with my w210 320 CDI I stuck in traffic,before that temperature shows 80 even below 80.when I stuck the temperature start increase 95 even maybe 100,after that when traffic is OK and i drove temperature start going down,and I am worry about that.can you tell me is it normal?

It's normal for the temperature to rise.
I would normally expect 95 to be about the maximum that you'd see indicated, but its possible that it could rise beyond that under certain conditions. I think that in a pressurised system the water can get to about 110 before it starts to blow.

Still check your coolant level (when cold), the viscous fan (the carrot trick works pretty well ) and that your auxillary fans are working.

At this time of year with these ambient temperatures, the only way your going to see 95 deg on the gauge is if theres a problem. As said, get a full check done on the cooling system first.
