My 2008 GL450 is vibrates seriously at speed above 60 mph.
I've done wheel balancing
I've done alignment
New tyres new bushings and new steering arms
The vibration is still there above 60 mph. I'll not feel this when driving at 50 mph to low speed.
Pls help me

You need to determine the source. Where are you feeling the vibrations. At the steering, near your feet, from the engine bay, behind you, everywhere,.....

CV joints shot? warped disks, prop shaft, engine or G box mounts. so on and so on gets expensive.

Who recommended the jobs you have already done.

Needs lifting and an experienced mb indy looking at it. could be one of those, yes happens on these cars after so long done 100s

Dreaming of a CL55k - one day maybe....
Can you drive Lthrough” it (does it go away at 70mph) or does it just get worse.

This vibration is everywhere inside the vehicle, from the steering wheel down to the boot. Immediately you just lower your speed below 60 mph, it'll drive smoothly. Like I said earlier, I've changed the gear mounts, suspension bushings, the Tyres are Brand New and I did wheel balancing of each of the tyres.

If throughout vehicle it could well be prop shaft UJs, or balance.

check wheel bearings, jack and try 12/6 o’clock try rocking then 3/9 o’clock see if any play.

The other thing to check is if there are any dents or buckles on the rims.

need to jack it up and rig up a pointer against the edge of rim, then gently spin wheel, you can then see any run out (buckle) or gaps (dented rim).
If you have a DTI perfect, if not, a nail securely taped to a stick or coffee stirrer stapled to a stick (both with a secure ‘foot’). It would give a good indication.

both can be fixed by a wheel specialist.

Sounds just like the discovery 3 when the prop centre Uj fails, vibrations galore after 50mph , easy to diagnose too

Another cheap fix can be cleaning the inside of the wheels. I had a serious issue with vibration on a Fiat Marea Weekend (don't ask...) and that vibrated so bad at 60 the exhaust fell off... (it was a new vehicle...) dried mud on the inside of the wheels was the cause of vibration.

Did you look at the engine mounts when you did the gearbox? Other than that like the others sounds like UJ or in that area?
Where are you located?
