GLA 220 CDI & 200d

The old boy is semi interested in a 2.1 GLA , usual reasons , hip , knee & back , etc .

Was wondering if the 220 CDI was biturbo , 200d definitely single .

I did drive a remapped W211 pre facelift E200 CDI
( single turbo ) , but the low rpm performance was poor compared to midrange and top end .

They didn't do a GLA 250 CDI .

If you are referring to W204 C Class , the 220 is biturbo as is 250 albeit second turbo is bigger than 220's .

It's all very confusing .

It's all very confusing .

From what I just read:

Engines are identical, even water pumps.
Difference is down to mapping and injectors. 250 has larger capacity injectors.
Both have identical turbos, they're both two stage
