GLA service intervals and cost

Hi, I have a March 22 GLA , which is now due its first A service.

I have been quoted £350 by main dealer (Marshalls) - seems very high, is this in the standard price range? They also advise next years service will be c£500 and the one after c£600 !

Also does anyone know what the service intervals are - is it every year or do they go to variable mileage based at any point? (only doing c5k miles a year)

Seems to be in the dealer price bracket. Yes high, but owning a merc isn’t cheap sadly.

As your car comes with a 3 year warranty, I would suggest to get it serviced by the dealers for the those years, to avoid any warranty issues further down the line.

You could get a 3 year service plan, which would be cheaper then your payg quotes.

Just make sure you start it on the "B" service so you ger B A B Services as the B are much dearer

Ring around a few MB local dealers its not a fixed price & there are deals. I think you can get quotes on the MB website from various dealers.

I did a quote for a Mercedes ServiceCare Plan based on a standard model GLA with the age being 'above 12 months'. The age is important because below 12 months the plan is cheaper.
You have the choice of 2, 3 or 4 services, and the upfront cost is £984, £1476 and £1968 respectively. You also have the option of paying monthly which must be done in 12 installments at a cost of £82, £123 or £164.

On a deal 3 years ago I got 3 years servicing on the SLC for £1,000.
That was two B & one A service, plus an auto gearbox oil change.
Great value.
