Hi All
I've been looking on lots of websites about various Mercedes models, and it seems that the ambient light with colour change option has been available on many models for some time.
On my 2015 GLA45 I have the option to change the brightness of the ambient lights, but there's no option to change the colour. What I'd like to know is whether the ambient lights in my car are LEDs that could change colour from the standard orange, or are they just orange bulbs?
I've seen some kits available but I don't want to pull the car to bits.
I saw a suggestion that a hack via ODBC might enable colour change on ambient lights, but I can't establish whether UK cars have that option or the correct LEDs.
Does anyone know?
