Glass in wing mirror

Hi,

The Glass in the wing mirror casing shakes when traveling above 60mph making it difficult to see how far cars behind are when over taking.

Is there any way of removing glass and tighting up. ????

Its often the mounts, slip the glass off and make sure that its fitted correctly. If it is the mounts then a piece of the very thin soft foam can take away the shake placed between the glass and motor ass

Thanks for info, How is glass removed i have looked in diy but cannot find a post.

Push the glass in at the bottom and you will see a wire clip along the top, un hook the spring and the glass is held by 2 pegs in the bottom

Sorted

Took glass out and a plastic clip had come away , pushed it back refitted glass and no more shaking.
