GLC 250d DPF Removal

Following on from my dpf problems, I was just wondering if anyone has had the delight of removing the dpf from the GLC for cleaning?

I’ve cleaned both fitted but it was a right pain, the first one, nearest turbo, I cleaned in situ as it looked as if I would either have to remove exhaust manifold or steering column

Cleaning is short term , diagnoses of route cause is King .

Yes, I agree, will get to the root cause, which wasn’t cleaning them, was just expressing my enjoyment of removing them

I'm not familiar with your particular model but you speak of two DPF's?

What is the configuration of your exhaust system, is it original and where are the two DPF's located?
