there'll be 2 screws somewhere on the head light, an up/down adjuster & a left/right adjuster. Not knowing what kind of lights are fitted to your car, assuming they're NOT auto levelling, there will be an adjuster inside the car somewhere - usually near the headlight switch (someone should have told SMART when they made the 451 & they wouldn't have hid it) ... has it been set to something other than zero?

just looked at my ML and it appears that they must be under a cover trim

thanks for the reply there is no adjuster in the car at all according to merc if you do adjust the screw manually this is only temporary when you you restart the car they go back to default setting because of automatic dip hard to believe confused

Do you not have LED lights that do a little dance when you switch on?

For a new 2022 car I would take it straight back to Mercedes and get them to sort it out.

You haven't got the button turned off on the overhead control panel?

thanks i spoke to a guy at merc he said you can set them up but they just go back to default when the automatic dip works seems strange as on any other merc i had you adjusted them on the screws above the headlight what is your thoughts on that

Sorry but I don't know enough about the technicalities of this but if you are unhappy with the headlight aim, I would book it in and get them to check it. Automatic headlights will have a default position but I imagine this default position can be adjusted in some way? Perhaps not!
