GLC side steps

will shortly take a GLC but notice that from some owners that the side steps are prone to weather and discolourasation ? just wondered if anyone on here has had side steps replaced by styling companies . one company Direct 4x4 offer steps but wondering if they are a perfect fit blending in with the front and rear moulding ? did ask the question to them but im not sure they get my drift ? didnt want any gaps front and rear .

Sorry can’t help. I had mine taken off by the dealer (at their expense) as a condition of purchase. Side steps tend to be a Marmite thing, love them or hate them!
