Hello,
Just had an A Service and had to have the Passenger side Lower Spring arm replaced due to the Bushes being worn - explaining the Clunk on a Left turn. Is this a usual thing for 38,000 miles / five years ???

I'd say yes. Lot of car, is the chassis based on the c class?

With that extra roll weight etc. I'd expect premature bush failure

Usually the ball joint that fails rather than the bush.
I’m thinking along these lines as well. I thought the actual bush was a separate part you could order other than the whole arm. If the ball joint failed, then that would be a new arm. Unless it’s suspension bush or roll bar bush.
