We had the pleasure of this stunning Mercedes GLC63 s in yesterday.
looking for stage 1, we quickly realised this car was in a false limp mode, analysed and fixed the issue now pushing some serious numbers!!

limp stock - 351bhp & 718nm
stock fixed - 520bhp & 744nm
GAD stage1 - 600bhp 997nm!

You gonna keep us in suspense, or tell us what was wrong causing it to limp? Please??
it was just an incomplete circuit on the rear exhaust section (cant remember the exact fault) so upon further inspecton we found one of the exhaust flaps modules was unplugged, plugged it back in and it made near stock power (520bhp) vs with the fault (360bhp)

litrally thats all I done, plugged in one exhaust control valve!! just ECU must not have liked the open circuit

They must of unplugged it to keep the valve open and didn’t install a valve simulator to keep the ecu thinking that the valve is still in.

or wasn’t pushed on properly in the first place and wiggled itself off

Yea one was plugged in one was unplugged completely. The customer had his backbox modified a few weeks earlier so presumably they left one side unplugged when doing the mod.

I did ask if the customer noticed it any slower since the mod, he barely drove it since the mod but when he did, he noticed it was sluggish.

At least we got it sorted in the end.
