GLE400D audio

Hello everyone, at present I’m driving a GLC43 its Premium Plus so has the Burmester audio, I’m rating the audio 8/10.

I intend to exchange the GLC for a GLE400D mainly for its comfort and road noise improvement. I’ve test driven a 2022 Premium model

and liked it a lot. However I would like advice on whether to go for the Premium Plus or buy a newer Premium and upgrade the audio,

Be sure to check what premium and premium + features are present on a car of that vintage. Covid caused supply chain issues and a lot of better spec'd cars didn't get all the bells and whistles. My son's 2022 CLA premium + came without electric memory seats, electric boot opening/closing, wireless phone charging and upgraded stereo.. But it was "upgraded" to a "Night Edition".

Just make sure the one you buy has Burmeister, I would think upgrading the audio will be massively expensive

Thanks Dry Run and JBell for your advice, when I had the test drive, I did bring my music mem stick with me but the GLE was type "C" usb,mine was B. Couldn't judge by the radio, wanted music I was familiar with, so going back to Bath Sytner and have a listen, best regards.

Welcome - like you I have the Burmester in a GLC43. As above, don’t assume anything with Premium/Premium Plus as different models had different specifications at different times.
