You need to do a scan, I'm afraid. This happened to me and it coded as a fault with the glow plug of Cylinder 6...
It wasn't causing a problem when driving but people on here advised me to change it. So I did.

It means one or more of your glow plugs has failed

Yes it will. Plugs heat the chamber fpr the initial start then compression does its thing.
Cuemgd the offending plug and all the rest while you are there.
