Where will I find the glow plug relay, ????[94 E300TD] all was working fine until I tried to start it without preheat!! since then heater light does not come on until after it has started and I can not hear the relay clicking, [the heater light did come on once before starting, but now never does] I get the feeling that I am getting no heat at all so am wondering what has gone wrong ?? or is it just a coincidence that this occured after I started it without preheating.

They say I don't like diesels.

But seeing as the dieselheads all seem to be in the pub, I'll try to answer your question.

If the light comes on after the engine starts, this is to indicate that there are faulty glow plugs, not the relay. I have seen my dad testing glow plugs back some years ago, but not going to explain, cause it could give you a nasty burn.

I think the relay is on the right side of the engine bay viewed from drivers seat.

There!!!!! I love diesels!!!!!!!!!!
