I've recently changed the glow plugs on my 190D and it seems the fuel consumption has increased since. The new glow plugs are 11.7 volts while they should be 11.5 volts, does anyone know if this is the cause?
I appreciate your help.

Your glowplugs will have no effect whatsoever on fuel consumption they are there simply to aid cold starting:?

Thanks Ultymate but do you have any idea why fuel consumption has increased. I put in a new filter and injector cleaner but still the same. I suppose 190D 2L should do more than 45 mile per galon, isn't this right?

Thanks for your time guys and help.
