Glow Plugs..

Hi All..

O have a W202 250TD Diesal. I had to replace one of the glow plugs last year. I now have to replace some other that have failed. I seems to me that the plugs are failing more and more. Is this a more sinister issue or just duff plugs. I dont get cheap one but wondered if MB one would last longer.

Also is there an period that they should last, the plugs that is..

Glow plugs

Hi Glow plugs are like light bulbs they can work for years or hours,I have 2 in my 250d that have done 200,000miles, if you have the same 1or 2 causing a problem,I would suggest check the injector above that plug.Ithink suggested mileage to change glow plugs and service injectors is 60,000 if you are starting and stopping a lot each day have them all changed.
