glowplug light stays on 51plate 320 cdi estate

Hi, when I start the car the glowplug light stays on as if they were still operating after the car was running. If I stop and start the car a few times it eventually stays of, any ideas lads?

I'm sure someone will come along with the correct answer soon, but if the light stays on, is it not to tell you there is a problem with one or more of the glow plugs not working?

yep normally telling you a glow plug is goosed. Does the engine vibrate in the morning? another sign of fautly plug

agree with arm 33 there, its telling you that you have one or more plugs u,s not uncommon on your model !!!
