Good / bad colours for W220 & C214?

I appreciate that colour is a personal opinion and often a cause of lively debate! However I think it is fair to say that certain colours suit certain models of car better and have a bearing on purchase and future re-sale prices.

With that in mind, what do members consider to be the better or less favoured colours for these two models?

Don't know what a C214 is, but I like the classic colours on the W220.

Dark blue, Black and Silver always looks nice.

Don't like the reds, greens, golds, or the light blues etc.
Those are pretty dated colours anyway that just dates the car more. But maybe in another 10 years when it is a classic they might be more desirable?

But does it really matter? They are at the sort of prices where I doubt colour even comes into it.
