good customer service

hi guys new to forum ( long time viewer though ) before i make my point may i say that the information on this forum is superb a lot of you guys are true knights of the road with problem solving etc thank you . I have a 1999 c180 that had the usual rust problems mb not interested last year when tried to get it fixed took it to mb approved bodyshop had rust repaired wings etc and full bottom end re-spray car was lovely ( paid for by me ) . 14 months later a few small bubbles appeared took it back to bodyshop and they were superb no problem car booked in repaired polished and valeted no charge that is what i call service the company concerned is called dentec in glasgow and i could not have been treated any better i think a good company should be shared with fellow thinkers . sorry if this is a bit long dont normally do this posting thing

Hi Davyt and welcome to the forum. It is always good news to hear about good customer service - unhappily it tends to be the bad news that usually dominates people's thinking.

It is interesting to hear that the problem recurred after comprehensive treatment - and that they were prepared to rectify it for you.

As this is a known MB problem for certain build years, you might have thought that the word would be out and they might limit their liability on this. It is all the more to their credit that they did not.

perhaps you should promote these repairers you used on the forum as a return favour. Its only fair...... I am sure other members would love to enjoy the great service too..

Just like i did when I used MMT Guys

totally agree about promoting good service on the forum as DENTEC really cared about my car it may be 10 yrs old but she only has 53,000 miles on the clock and looks brand new the way all our cars should look
