GoodYear Runflats????

Hey Guys,
I am going to need to replace the front two tyres on my SL320 quite soon, i have a pair of Bridestones re040 on the back which i got at a good price, i have seen some goodyear runflats which are local to me are the a good tyre?
or will they be uncomfatable? these are partworns but a t a good price for the size and make...

I am not 100% sure, but don't you need special wheels to use runflats?

Run flats because of the harder sidewalls can be dammed uncomfortable, just ask a BM driver.

As above. A lot of the Beemer drivers go back to "normal tyres". At the end of the day, how often do you get a puncture?

Three times in my W210 and twice so far in my wife's Accord :-(

Last week, generally 5/6 times a year. That's the problem when you work in engineering the cark park/yard is full of all sorts of debris.

You may not be aware of it but I believe runflats are NOT repairable. You have to buy a new tyre each time!! Very expensive business apart from the discomfort and poor handling already mentioned.
