EU decision.

I had heard that in Germany it is possible to get 3000 Euro towards a new car when handing in an old banger, all as part of some government scheme.

I'm sure that soomeone on here will be able to confirm this.

It was announced in the summer, you get £1K for your car, is that enough to buy a car costing £10K or £20K for a Merc?
