A Chinese SUV?
Hmm, I was going to ask if your experience will have any relevance to those thinking of buying the Chinese electric cars that are expected to flood Europe, but I see that you second posting was for such a vehicle. Did the Byd Seal give you a similar feeling?
I wanted to discuss my experiences with two very different Chinese cars, but the threads were merged and now it's inevitable discussions will get screwed up.
The first car is a chinese knock-off of a LR Defender. It was horrible to drive and the electronics in it was not intelligent at all.
The 2nd car is a Chinese sedan built by a company called BYD, model is called SEAL and it is fully electric 4WD punching 500+ HP. It is a model 3 tesla competitor and quite honestly, I loved it. Build quality was good, drivability was outstanding and the technology was awesome.
I was in a BYD recently (Dolphin maybe?) and was impressed at what it had to offer for the price, I probably wouldn’t buy one as it wasn’t that comfortable but for what it was it’s better than a few of its competitors
