My Satnav on my 1999 S320 didnt work when I bought the car. Despite several attempts at inserting and ejecting the CD/DVD. I have just stumbled upon a fix and thought I'd share it on here in case anyone else is having the same issues.
Using a free piece of software called MagicISO, I created a .iso file of the entire CD. I then burnt this image onto a new blank CD using any commercial CD burning software (Nero or Sonic).
When I inserted this copied CD into the Command slot, Hey Presto! It all started up and worked fine.
The original CD didnt look scratched or damaged in any way.
