Hi !
I'm happy to have a resource like this to ask some simple questions from time to time.
I just purchased a 1990 500 sl in excellent condition and know nothing about any historical problems with the model.
I have owned a 1977 300d, a 1984 190d, a 1980 450sl, and still own (and love) a 1980450 sel.
Could any of the members offer comments re: the 500 sl.
