Guess how much for a pair of front m/flaps.?

I have just been gobsmacked as to the price of a pair of front mud flaps for my ML. (2 pieces of formed plastic and 8 metal clips)

I emailed a local MB Main Dealer (took 3 days to get back to me with a price).

Go on - have a guess.!!!

This could become a thread in its own right ... what's the worst value service/purchase any member has had from M-B?

Hundred pound mud flaps is a good starter.

I bought the wife a new BMW 330 d coupe last December , when speaking to the salesman just before delivery I asked for a set of 4 mudflaps to be fitted and front mats.

My fault that I did not ask the price.

When collecting the car , he looked very embarressed when he passed the invoice over for £260 FFS !!!!!!

The next morning I rang and complained , but admitting it was my fault for not asking , and got a refund of £60

Just purchased a FULL set of new MB mudflaps - for £29.99 inc delivery - thanks to the internet

I will put the new set of REAR mudflaps on ebay.

I've had some high quotes for parts from various sources for my old 300d, merc dealers always by far highest, but couple of items in particular are much cheaper from German, Swedish- french suppliers with warranty too. Is there really such a big differance in the quality is my question?

No need for traction control or sports suspension anymore, just fit mudflaps.......
